Like Italian designer lipstick, except it's a pen. 🙂

Thank you to Pengallery for donating this Maita Fashion pen to Pens for Aid! Maita Fashion is a sub-brand of Marlen Pens, a well-known Italian pen maker that also dabbles in watches. This pen has a bright red-pink body, a black cap, metal trim and accents, and a surprise - the barrel's end can be unscrewed to store a few drops of your favorite fragrance. Back in the heyday of fountain pens, there were portable perfume holders that looked exactly like fountain pens, and were also lever fillers. This is a cute modern take on that. The nib is steel in broad, and the pen uses international cartridges.

The pen, with secret goodies, will ship from Manila.

Please bid generously! The entire amount of the winning bid will go to the Philippine Red Cross for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. I will shoulder shipping and handling costs, and Paypal fees as well. As the auctions close and donations are sent, I will post a screengrab of the PayPal receipt as a public record.
