I made a bamboo pen today, and made a video with it. (Bow.) Bamboo shavings decorate the gray carpet underneath my desk.
It’s a two-sided bamboo pen; one end is a fine and the other is on the italic side. It’s a good way to get multiple textures out of a single tool. I’ve also discovered that leaving some pith near the tip, instead of shaving it down very finely, means getting even more brush-like effects.
