Cross writing instruments are solidly made and very office-appropriate. Thank you to Ian of Cathedral Pens for donating this Cross Century fountain pen and mechanical pencil to Pens for Aid!
The Cross Century is a classic line and will look good for years to come. The fountain pen is boxed with paperwork, and is in mint condition complete with converter (Cross converters, for some reason, are not that easy to find – so this is a good thing!). It has a matte black finish and comes with a medium nib. Both the trim and the steel nib are gold plated. The mechanical pencil is slim and slides perfectly into the loop that comes with most planners. The pencil, and the box it comes in, are both in excellent condition.
Please bid generously! I want to encourage you to bid by setting the starting price low. The entire amount of the winning bid will go to the Philippine Red Cross for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Â Shipping and handling costs are c/o us, and Paypal fees as well. As the auctions close and donations are sent, I will post a screengrab of the PayPal receipt as a public record.
