Thanks to Pengallery’s ongoing holiday sale, I now have a Conway Stewart 40-pen case. It is a necessity rather than a treat. That I filled all the slots with the pens I was carrying in my handbag, plus had a couple left over, was not totally a shock. It certainly felt like my shoulder was crying for mercy every time I slung on my bag; it still will, but now in a more organized way, kind of like synchronized groaning rather than intermittent whining.
