Our Endless Numbered Days.

Iron
and Wine’s first release, The Creek Drank the Cradle, was one of those Blair
Witch wonders, a home recording that suddenly found itself on many best-of-2002
lists.

I’ve been listening to songs from
Our Endless Numbered Days, the second album. It is brilliant folk music.
Brilliant music, period. This was studio-produced, and yet remains simple and
intimate, a quiet conversation with the friend whom you tell things you can’t
tell other friends.
