Last Christmas, Budj gave me and the yet-to-be-born Lucien a good-golly-Miss-Molly present: figures from the Dreaming, including one of the librarian Lucien. That’s one of the things I’ll bring with me when Neil Gaiman holds signings in Manila. I was thinking of bringing the real baby Lucien too, but it might get too crowded and uncomfortable and hot, and he gets enough of that at home. Besides, what would Neil sign on – Luc’s used diaper? Or maybe I can bring one of the baby shirts. Or a bib! That would be amazing – Neil’s signature and Luc’s milk and spit, all on one piece of terry cloth.
