Pens for Aid: 1940s Sheaffer Craftsman pen and pencil set.

Sheaffer is one of the oldest pen brands still in existence. It was an innovator in the heyday of fountain pens (think Snorkel, Touchdown, PFM) and still introduces new designs today.

This Sheaffer Craftsman pen and pencil set is from the late 1940s. The nib is a smooth 14K no. 33 which writes a medium-bold line. It's the leftmost in the three-nib picture. If you want to build a vintage Sheaffer collection then this is a clean set to have. I love the marine green. Tom restored it and it's working fine. 🙂 Thank you, Tom, for donating this set to Pens for Aid! I will add secret goodies for the winner.
