Countdown to the inevitable.

Today I got my ticket to the 22nd Creative Guild Ad
of the Year Awards. (That was a mouthful. We really should find a cool nickname
for it. Even the Effies has, well, “Effy.” Even if it’s too close to iffy.)

We are still friendly towards one
another, and very helpful, but I’m sure many edges are starting to fray under
the pressure of mounting this year’s awards night. I’m sure mine are so frayed
they are probably curtain fringe by now. But the souvenir program mockup looked
sharp (thanks to Teddy and the Blue Bottle team), and the materials we need are
trickling in, so perhaps we will actually make it with all nerves
intact.
