Serge Lutens’ Arabie is the first fragrance to have
ever made me physically sick. I got the glimmerings of a migraine, nausea, and
itchiness to boot. The sick feeling only went away when I rinsed Arabie off. I
am quite sad, as this fragrance is meant to evoke a Middle Eastern bazaar, a
melange of spices and dried fruit and heat.
